KCA Red Clay Jazz Festival
Ernie Watts on sax

“Our stay in Kauai was perfect! The setting couldn't have been lovelier and the people so warm and accommodating.” —Joyce Cooling, performer at the 1st Annual Red Clay Jazz Festival

We agree with so many, Kauai should have a jazz festival — so KCA is doing it! On June 26, 2010, enjoy a rainbow of sounds from four musical ensembles representing a blend of local stars and internationally renowned jazz artists. This unique Kauai music extravaganza is KCA's commitment to realize the vision of the late Pete Robinson, a veteran Kauai jazz DJ.

The 3rd Annual Red Clay Jazz Festival brings a diverse set of artists to entertain our Kauai audience: legendary saxophonist Ernie Watts; lauded jazz guitarist Peter Sprague; world-class rhythm players Noel Okimoto, Kenny Endo, and Dean Taba; and Kauai's own Will Lydgate Trio.
