As recitalist, chamber musician, and orchestral soloist in such venues as New York's Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, she has already achieved a high level of recognition for her commanding performances. Critics have hailed Ms. Wang; The New York Times praised her "estimable grasp of pianistic color", and The Washington Post called her "a paragon of virtuosity". Ms. Wang made her New York debut in 2006 at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center and in 2007, she made her orchestral debut at Carnegie Hall's Isaac Stern Auditorium as soloist with the City Symphony under conductor George Manahan. She has been heard with the Tenerife Symphony of Spain, the Miami Pops Orchestra, and with many of China's leading orchestras. The Caramoor Festival and the International Keyboard and Festival at Mannes have presented her in recital and she has performed throughout the country, notably at Tanglewood, the Smithsonian, and in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, Arizona, Virginia, and California. Marquis Classics has released two CDs: "Introducing Xiayin Wang" and "Brahms Piano Quartets; Xiayin Wang and the Amity Players". In May 2009, Naxos released Ms. Wang's latest solo album featuring the great Russian composer Aleksandr Scriabin; the album debuted on Billboard's classical album chart.
